The Sunday New York Times Travel Section

I was thrilled to be contacted by The New York Times this year to photograph for their Travel section on Frugal Boulder, which was printed as a full page articl in The Sunday New York Times.

Fall Portfolio Shoot

Many thanks to the hair, makeup and wardrobe styling talents of Suzanne Blons and models from Max Talent for our Fall portfolio shoot with Melissa. The Fall shoot added an urban element to accessories such as hat, boots, jacket and sunglasses.

So proud to be announced the Winner of Craft | Photography Personal/Unpublished Best of Discipline 2018 at the 60th Annual Award Show for The One Club for Creativity Denver! Small Business Spotlight: Rebecca's Apothecary

Rebecca’s Apothecary is an institution in Boulder. The place to go for knowledge, compassion and healing. Rebecca is one special person and the love and care she puts into her passion for helping people is inspiring. Below are a few from our social media photo shoot.

Spring Portfolio Shoot

Many thanks to the hair, makeup and wardrobe styling talents of Suzanne Blons and models from Max Talent for our Spring portfolio shoot. This year’s shoot danced around the intersection of outdoor and fashion.

Wallaroo at the beach in Montecito, CA

After three years of battling the temperamental Colorado Spring weather, the Wallaroo catalog team hit the road this year to Southern California for… temperamental Spring gloom. But given that we were at the beach, it pretty much didn’t matter. We had a blast, and produced the best catalog ever this year. Many thanks to Suzanne Blons for incredible hair, makeup and wardrobe styling again this year.

BTS in Montecito, CA for Wallaroo Hats

And now the fun part… the Behind the Scenes photos from California. Note the part where our model Dennis jumps in the ocean to help a park ranger pull out a juvenile great white shark (with our stylist yelling in the background not to get the pants wet!).

Where will you RoM

On a ski trip to Breckenridge, the owners of Nashville-based RoM Outdoors decided to get some snow photography for their marketing. So we headed up to Hoosier Pass for some gear and lifestyle shots. This shoot was in deep snow at 11,541 feet just days before flying out for a shoot in Southern California.

SoBo Homes

Every year I photograph the beautiful homes that were remodeled by design & build firm SoBo Homes. They have a great style that combines modern and retro and historical features to create a unique look. In fact, I’ve started to notice that despite using modern features, a high percentage of these clients own record players.

Small Business Spotlight: Ember Hair Salon

I love working with small businesses to help them distinguish their brand and stand out from the crowd on social media. Jamie opened Ember Beauty and Barbering hair salon this year after launching a successful mobile salon in a converted airstream she calls Ember Hairstream. I love her style!

Breakthru Beverage Group

I’ve been photographing events, facilities and portraits for Breakthru Beverage Group for 7-8 years. In the years of getting to know the people and the company, I am truly impressed by the fun, close-knit, family-oriented culture they’ve created.

Think Realty Magazine

Photographing a character for a profile piece is always a blast. Dennis arrived with energy and ideas and a willingness to have fun with the photos for Think Realty Magazine.

Net App New CEO

Not too long after the acquisition of my client SolidFire by NetApp, a new CEO, Brad Anderson, was announced and relocated to Boulder. They hired me for a few unique Boulder headshots that conveyed Brad’s casual, approachable style.
